A practical example
A five-page PDF produces five page PDFs. Choose the source file, create the ZIP, and extract it into a folder before opening the individual pages. If you need only pages 2–4 together in one file, use Extract pages instead of splitting the entire document.
Limits and common mistakes
The operation copies PDF pages rather than turning them into pictures. Some document-level features may not be retained in the new files. Splitting also does not remove sensitive content from a page; use an appropriate erase or redaction workflow for that task.
Check your downloaded result
Compare the number of extracted PDFs with the source page count. Open a first, middle and last page to check orientation and content. Rename files only after confirming that their contents match the labels you plan to use.
Where processing happens
Your document is processed locally in your browser. Document contents are not uploaded to the PDFDesk server. Opening the website still sends ordinary connection information to the host.
